Utmost Solutions WA delivers personalised, participant-first supported independent living across Joondalup and surrounding suburbs. We help you build confidence, develop daily life skills, and thrive in a home that truly feels like yours.
Choosing a supported independent living provider is one of the most important decisions a participant and their family can make. Here is what makes Utmost Solutions WA different from other providers in the region.
Every support plan starts with listening. We learn about your goals, your routines, and the things that matter most to you before designing any service. You are never just a number in our system.
Utmost Solutions WA holds full NDIS registration, giving you confidence that our services meet national quality and safety standards. We undergo regular audits to maintain compliance.
We assign dedicated support workers who live near Joondalup. This means fewer cancellations, more consistent faces, and staff who understand your local community and resources.
NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission compliant. All team members hold current Working With Children Checks, National Police Clearances, and relevant certifications. Your safety is never negotiable.
Our team lives and works across Perth's northern suburbs. This local presence means faster response times, deeper community connections, and support workers who know the area inside out.
Being based at Cockburn Central with active service delivery across Joondalup and the broader northern corridor means we understand the unique character of each suburb. We know the local transport routes, nearby health services, community centres, and social opportunities that matter to our participants.
This local knowledge directly translates into better support. When your team knows where the nearest pharmacy is, which parks are wheelchair accessible, and how to navigate public transport in your area, daily life becomes smoother and more independent.
Supported independent living is about more than just having someone nearby. It is a structured, personalised approach to helping you live as independently as possible while getting the right support at the right times.
We do not follow rigid schedules. Your support plan is built around your natural daily routine, from morning routines and meal preparation to social activities and bedtime. Every participant's plan looks different because every person's life is different.
The goal of our supported independent living service is not to create dependency. We actively work with you to develop skills that reduce the support you need over time. This might include learning to use public transport, managing a budget, cooking simple meals, or navigating social situations.
We chat with you and your support network to understand your needs, goals, and preferences. No pressure, no jargon.
We co-design a support plan that aligns with your NDIS goals and fits your actual daily life, not a generic template.
We match you with local support workers who fit your personality, communication style, and specific support requirements.
We regularly check in, measure progress against your goals, and adjust your plan as your needs evolve.
You decide how your support looks. From the staff you work with to the activities you pursue, your preferences drive every decision.
We work with your housing situation to create a stable living environment. Consistency in where you live directly impacts wellbeing.
Isolation is a real challenge. We actively support you to build friendships, join local groups, and participate in Joondalup community life.
Families can step back from daily caregiving knowing their loved one is safe, supported, and genuinely happy in their home environment.
We understand you probably have plenty of questions. Here are the ones we hear most often from participants and their families.
Supported Independent Living (SIL) refers to the daily support you receive, such as help with personal care, cooking, and household tasks. Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) refers to the physical home itself, designed for people with high support needs. You can have SIL without SDA, SDA without SIL, or both together depending on your NDIS plan and goals.
SIL funding sits under the Core Supports budget in your NDIS plan, specifically within the "Assistance with Daily Life" category. If you are unsure, check your plan or contact your NDIS planner or Local Area Coordinator. Our team can also help you understand your plan during an initial conversation at no cost.
Absolutely. The NDIS gives you choice and control over your providers. You are never locked into a provider you are not happy with. At Utmost Solutions WA, we encourage you to meet our team, ask questions, and make sure you feel comfortable before committing to anything.
We maintain a pool of trained support workers who are familiar with each participant's plan and preferences. If your regular worker is unavailable, we arrange a suitable replacement who has been briefed on your needs. We prioritise continuity and will never leave you without support.
Once we have received your referral and confirmed your NDIS funding, we can typically begin services within one to two weeks. Urgent situations can be accommodated faster. We recommend reaching out as early as possible so we can match you with the best support workers for your needs.
We support both. Some participants prefer the social aspect of shared living with one or two housemates, while others thrive in a solo living arrangement with drop-in or overnight support. We will discuss your preferences and help find or maintain the right housing setup for you.
Whether you are exploring options for yourself or a loved one, our friendly team is here to answer every question and guide you through the process.
